Originally from Aberdeen, Kate joined the company in January 2006 as Managing Director, after working within a number of senior roles in financial services over a period of 15 years. Combined with her MBA from Edinburgh University, Kate was keen to utilise this wealth of experience to develop Independent Women further. This will involve extending the Independent Women brand through the UK and providing more access for women who need financial advice. Kate is passionate about helping women achieve prosperity, and realising their financial dreams. Her research interests include pensions for women and asset allocation.
Kate lives in Edinburgh with her husband Martin.
