The evolution in role and status of women has had a direct impact on behaviour and attitudes to finance. Yet modern lifestyles have also created new conditions, as issues such as career, family, divorce and retirement planning are increasingly important. Taking control of your own money can seem like a daunting and complicated process, especially when you don't know where to start, and the complex financial needs of women are often overlooked.
This is why, in 1997, Lesley Collins set up Independent Women, to offer bespoke financial advice for women from all walks of life.
Independent Women was Scotland's first IFA firm dedicated to offering friendly, professional financial advice for women. We now have a network of consultants and support staff at our head office in Leith, Edinburgh, with an additional office in Glasgow (and soon in London).
Our dedicated advisers are always on hand to give you the benefit of their expertise, and will always take the time to find a solution that exactly fits you and your life.
Independent Women is proud to be totally independent, which means we can search the entire market to find a suitable plan that meets your individual needs.
