Wealth management business Ashcourt Rowan has restructured its investment services to provide a range of core discretionary portfolios.

The new investment model includes eight core investment profiles, ranging from adventurous to cautious income.

Client portfolios are constructed around country and regional equity, fixed interest and alternatives. Depending on the size of the portfolio, clients will be able to access the new service on either a bespoke or managed portfolio basis.

Chris Williams, business development director at Ashcourt Rowan said: "We have designed our investment model so both the performance and fee structures of our services are competitive. We believe our service provides unmatched flexibility in the market we serve, and will be of equal interest to IFAs as well as direct clients who will be able to benefit from the experience of Ashcourt Rowan's advisers across the UK.

Scott Mackintosh, director at IFA Independent Women in Edinburgh, commented: "In the current climate, anything that cuts costs for clients is positive, as long as it doesn't affect the service."
