At Independent Women, we value lifelong learning and personal development in a practical, supportive environment.

Many join us from different backgrounds and experience levels, and study for financial qualifications while working in the organisation.

Wealth planners can continue their CPD with us, attaining further qualifications and experience in-role. Our mentoring and support programme gives added benefit of working one-on-one with a wealth planner or director, whom are always available to provide feedback regarding industry regulations, the advisory process and performance.

Newly qualified wealth planners can gain direct client experience through our ‘cashflow consultant’ roles – conducting preliminary meetings with clients, without giving advice.

Paraplanners have the opportunity to work alongside one or more wealth planners, and study for advisory or other qualifications. It’s up to the individual how long and in what mode of study, and while providing support services to the wealth planners and directors, there’s a range of practical experience and knowledge to be gained before being required to give advice.

For support staff, there are unlimited possibilities. We currently have staff studying for paraplanning and financial services qualifications, law and other professions. By joining us in a support role, you have the opportunity of gaining a qualification while earning an income. We are pleased to provide a flexible working environment so you can perform your role and work around your commitments at the same time.  And we’ll help you celebrate when you get there.
